Key Elements of Healthy Computer Work

I was inspired by a recent LinkedIn post from NeuroCatch and decided to try and use a radar plot to convey my list of important elements for healthy computer work.

My experience has too often been that office ergonomics is reduced to "Can you get me a new chair?".

I would propose that organizations should put effort into all 6 areas identified if they want their employees to thrive - whether at home, in the office, or both. Organizations should provide training to teach healthy sitting skills to employees, support them to maintain healthy habits, provide them with furniture and accessories that fit, as well as giving them access to resources when they have concerns. All components are important to help employees thrive when their primary function is computer work.

It is certainly a journey to improve each element of this process. The important first question is to ask yourself if your organization has a process to address all 6 factors?
